A Glimpse of Romania
God was so good to give us the opportunity to spend 20 days in Romania in April. We took a team of young people and a mom from our church to go and do Bible clubs with the CEF of Romania. The first week we were there was spent preparing our lessons, sight seeing, and doing yard work at a youth camp run by a David Cato, a missionary from Trinity. God really used that time to grow a love and a burden for the people of Romania. We experienced their culture by visiting a castle built by their first king, touring their capitol city, and attending a Romanian concert. We also attended church, traveled and ate Romanian style! We loved it!!!!
The second week we split our group into two teams and did a total of 7 Bible clubs a day with around 210 children and adults attending. Our hearts hurt for the people who were so thirsty for the truth of the Gospel, but were in such bondage to the Orthodox religion. We pray that the seeds that were planted will be watered and that one day, they will bear fruit–eternal fruit!!!
Here are some pictures from the trip. May God burden your heart for these people as you see their faces, and pray that the Lord of the harvest that He will “send forth laborers into His harvest.” (Mt. 9:38)
